Energy Management for Neurodivergent Adults
As a neurodivergent person, I’ve come to deeply understand the importance of energy management and not just time management.
For many neurodivergent adults, our energy is a limited and fluctuating resource that directly affects focus, emotional regulation, relationships, and overall well-being.
This awareness is a core part of my therapy work and my own self care as a neurodivergent therapist. In therapy, we talk about how sensory load, masking, stress, health conditions, and life demands impact your nervous system and energy levels.
Now, we’re taking it a step further than traditional therapy can go.
Rather than pushing through or “fixing” yourself, energy healing focus on learning how to work with your energy, honor your capacity, and build self-loving and sustainable rhythms that support you in your life.
In addition to my work as a licensed therapist, I am an intuitive and energy worker. While it may sound “woo woo,” this work is rooted in traditions that honor and support balancing energy in the mind, body and spirit. I’m excited to announce that I’ve become certified in Energy Medicine and am currently getting certified as a level-two sound healer. More to come!
Soon, I’ll be offering gentle, complementary energy management work designed to support nervous system regulation, grounding, and restoration. This approach is not a replacement for therapy or medical care, but a supportive option for those who are curious about integrating energy-based practices into their overall self-care.
